at a minimum, all mogstation items that aren't a consumable should be account wide without fail.

The biggest thing I'd like is shared housing ownership and shared storage/glamour. I don't particularly care about sharing achievements/story progress/etc. as I do generally regard my characters as separate characters, but it would be great to be able to share the stuff I wanted to share by choice. And being able to share houses between characters could possibly do a little to reduce housing system pressure.
As someone with several characters, I would love a feature like this. It would be nice to make achievement points become a global thing tied to account as opposed to just character, similarly with glamour. I would love it, even going as far as to say I would pay for such a feature.
I'm scratching my head wondering people would want to make a new character in a game where a single character can master all classes and do every storyline in a game. At this point just use a fantasia imo.
A few reasons, really
-Roleplaying
-Just wanting a different aesthetic for a while but not wanting to actually change your main's race
-wanting a different aesthetic for different jobs
-chronic inability to manage the inventory of all jobs + crafters
-wanting to see the MSQ cutscenes as a new race
-playing with friends on other Data centers
-Burnt out on endgame
-general boredom or because you can
Also for people who have played many other MMORPGs before coming here constant alt rolling is the norm. There is always one main that the bulk of activity is done on but alts are always a thing. Losing them here might actually be a bummer for those people so they just make alts anyway.
I'd totally want some form of account progression, but not the ones mentioned.
Mounts and minions idc much, and that way I can give alts double minions or refarm a mount I have already on main.
Dresser I'd absolutely never want shared. On main it's hell, with the limited item cap it has, I have to limit myself to a certain dress code + keep some stuff on retainers+armory chest. Alts give me the chance of extra dresser space for different dress styles. Having it all shared would mean even more limited space.
Now what I'd REALLY want to be shared is the grindy stuff that's not just cosmetic, especially beast tribes, but also the chance to skip msq for free. Having to redo it all is soo long. Even if you skip dialogues/cinematics, the amount of stuff like solo duties is crazy, luckily they at least reduced the number of currents in old areas but I did a lot before they did. And then there's GC levelling and all.

I'd want to be able to learn appearances and ditch the item like in Guild Wars or WoW but the glamour system is its own can of worms.
As someone who's insane enough to be playing alt characters in this game.....yeah I would appreciate more account wide progression. But I totally see why this isnt a priority due to the nature of this game's All-in-One deal.
I started a fresh character in November to replay ARR and HW, and am very glad I did. There's something to be said for experiencing being a brand-newbie without a Gil to your name again.
There's also something to be said for having account-wide things. Here's what I'd like:
1. Minions and mounts
2. Loot. A lot of those Untradable items my retainers bring back on one character would be awfully nice to have as glams on the other.
3. Mail. Being able to mail stuff between characters would be a huge QoL improvement
4. Unlimited mailing of Gil between all characters on a world. Not between worlds, just within the one on which the gold is being mailed.
5. House/Apartment/FC Room tenancy.
6. Mogstation purchases
7. Hairstyles
I'm torn on achievements, leaning towards not, since so many of them are tied to story progression and not just random Grind X of These and similar.

I agree with most of these, though I'm pretty sure they'd never do it for Mogstation purchases for obvious reasons. It'd be really nice if unlockable hairstyles were account wide though, not only could you make new character with them, but also the fact that you can unlock hairstyles that you cannot even use with no warning whatsoever.
