    UI indicator for requiescat?

Lately I've been playing a lot of PLD, and I've felt worried that I'm losing track of how many stacks of requiescat I have left. It sits there in the buff tray with a tiny little number over it to tell you how many you've got left. It can be annoying because the tiny white stack indicator feels harder to make out than the clean green timers buffs have, and since EW requiescat's timer has basically been a non issue because it's all about the stacks.

It is definitely servicable especially with how consistent the skill's usage is, but if the boss becomes untargetable or something I feel like I lose track of when the skill is coming to an end (Important for confiteor). Yes I could adjust my buff tray to be bigger and so on, but I find my UI completely fine except for this one thing that bugs me so it feels like a standout issue to me.

Would anybody else appreciate a requiescat gauge/some notches on the oath gauge? These UI elements are larger and more standout from the barrage of buffs you get from your team and I feel I'd have an easier time keeping track of it. I mean, DRK has the special darkside gauge and that's a self buff you'd have to try to not keep up passively.

Let me ask you this: why only for Req?...
What aboud Sword Oath stacks and even FoF?...

When I see BLM's gauge having Polyglot, Paradox, Enochian, Umbral Hearts and Ice/Fire, I don't see why PLD gauge couldn't have all 3 things in theirs...

What they put on the gauge or not is a puzzle.
MCH had hotshot displayed on its gauge back in SB.
DRK has a useless Darkside timer displayed on its gauge. You also don't care about the Living Shadow timer.

But WAR doesn't when you need to check it from time to time.
It makes sense for Samurai or Dragoon to not have the timer on their gauge due to how easy it is to maintain the buffs, those are almost passive buffs.
PLD could work with Shieldtron on 2 stacks rather than an oath gauge and something more usefull displayed as the gauge.

I would also like to know their logic when it comes to what should be added or not on a gauge.

I ceraintly wouldn't be opposed. I don't really have an issue with them not being on the gauge due to FoF being a timer which I find easy to keep track of on the buff tray compared to stacks and the fact that it doesn't grant access to different actions in a way that means you could miss out on an entire attack, as much as it simply buffs them. Sword oath on the other hand has such a linear application with fewer stacks to keep track of, and the fact atonement glows on the hotbar when you have access to it makes it easier for me to realise I can still press that button. It feels like gauges exist to help you keep track of your resources and a requeiescat indicator's absense is something I've noticed due to mismanaging it meaning you either miss out on confiteor or you miss out on one or more holy spirits/circles, you're punished for going over or underboard with your magic usage while its up, so its more important. Five GCDs can sometimes be hard to keep track of in the heat of battle, and the stack indicator on the buff tray is small.

Again not saying they should stop with req if they were to expand on Paladin's gauges or the gauges of other classes, it's just that this has been an instance of something I've really felt missing while playing rather than just being a what-if.

Yeah there was another topic about making PLD gauge more useful, for requiescat but other stuff too possibly.
It's crazy how every other class just has a gauge for anything, but PLD has pretty much 0 info on it and has to keep everything in mind.

    That would be awesome,

Add requiescat as a mini gauge beside the main gauge to better keep track of it similarly to SAM’s,

Helps to curve the spams of buffs

Plus, req is always 5 stacks and has been for ages. Eventually you'll know it instinctively and not have to think about it.

Under your HUD layout, there is an option for status Info, to split Status Info into 2-4 different Elements instead of 1, the Elements split in 4 types of status (Enhancements, Enfeeblements, Other and Conditional Enhancements), Requiescat and Atonement will fall into Conditional Enhancements category, so easier to discern stacks if you have them in a place away from the rest of your buffs as enabling this feature will allow you to move any one of the Elements independent of the other Status Info Elements. Also if you want to make use of this feature, make sure you have each Display Element box ticked for the specific Elements in the UI Element Settings.

Edit: Not sure if that only applies to PC, or can apply to Playstation, as last time I played on Playstation I don't think the option was available when it was only possible to split Status Info into 3 sections compared to the now 4 sections.

This is a very sensible suggestion. RPR has a separate UI element specifically to track your steps and finisher during your Shroud window. You could very easily have something similar for Requiescat. In simple mode it could just be a series of diamonds that go dark when you consume a stack, similar to the Death Gauge.
