I made another mistake, with the LVL boost... when i finished the book on my character i realized, that i still have to go through the complete MSQ and that THIS is another book, the one you bought....

Now do i have a whitemage lvl82 stuck in the MSQ lvl35.... And when this one strikes 90, i will not get the XP from the MSQ as gil, or somethign else. so billions of XP lost in that...

Level another job. Don't persevere with a level 82 character in level 35 content, take up a second job – either start something from level 1 or instant unlock level 50 red mage/samurai.

And I hate to be that guy, but why does SQ even let you boost a character that has no lvl 80+ jobs?

Some players dislike story-based progression and would rather grind dungeons/PoTD/etc. to get to level cap.

You're not without options to continue leveling. You just can't do it via MSQ.

WHat you can do is, doing the roulette all the time now, gather the stuff from there to level up... i dont see another effectiv way than that.

With road to 80 you will get there just dungeon spamming in a couple evenings? I don't see what the big deal is? Time/XP ratio on MSQ isn't great.

It really makes no sense to let someone do that.

It's there for players who don't want to do MSQ. The boost did exactly what it was meant to do. However, you bought it and used it even though it appears as though you do want to do the MSQ.

i have 1 character (Sirineh) through the old Endwalker, started witht the new patchstuff, i have Jalinah there on the left side doing the MSQ LVL70 stuff.
If i play this one Whitemage i seriously consider to buy the book to start with Endwalker... Yeah its money, but i am very honest now, playing 3 chars through the MSQ is... you have to be a masochist, i am already that far to kill some of the NPC from MSQ because they are just pain in da ass. And the twins are the first ones, starting with Alphinaud...

And if someone ask: Why are you playing 3 chars (or more) you can ply all jobs in 1 char. Yes you guys are right and i am happy that you can do that. But i am more of a roleplayer and so not every job fits every character or i just want have different chars i can switch from time to time. Doesnt mean i play them all up to 90...


However, just saying the threadstarter is not the only one who made a "mistake" by buying such stuff....
