I had them use it on me and pulled me right over AOE that killed me. I have watched them on titan when they're going over the edge and use it on the tank to pull them over with them. I see it more missed used than used right.

I have done that a total of once, that when I was freeing someone from the gaol and my cohealer got wiped by landslide and rescued me off. So next pull? I intentionally let myself get landslid and pulled them off in return as revenge. It actually felt pretty sweet :P. Gonna troll me? Get trolled in return.

Few days ago I checked, I have about 425d of total playtime in barely 2 years since starting (It’ll be my 2nd year in 2 and a half week from today!).

The number of times I got trolled to death by rescue: 2
The number of times I got rescued properly: Plenty
The number of times I rescued for meme w/ friends: 1
The number of times I rescued for meme w/ randoms: never
The number of times I rescued randoms for mobility/mechanical reasons (Pull to next pack/appropriate spot to tank adds): I’ve lost count.
The number of times I rescued successfully: I’ve lost count.
The number of times I failed to rescue: I’ve lost count, but certainly eclipsed by the number of successful attempts.

Do I dislike getting rescue trolled? Definitely. It felt shitty. I still remembered getting pulled into a hole in Suzaku’s arena & rescued into death zones.
Do I wish for Rescue to be removed? Not a chance. Imho the pros just far outweights the cons. I’m not a fan of outright removing a tool rather than try to fix it, as well as blaming the tool instead of the wielder for its misuse. That just doesn’t make sense.

If one gets rescued way, way too often to their liking then maybe try to communicate or take a good look at themselves? I swear with all these ”but it’s against my will reeee” talks, the next thing I’ll see is probably people asking for personal raise cooldown because they might hate having to wait for their healer to raise them. It’s that healer’s goddamned fault to force the dps to wait and wait and wait and wait.
