Instead of new races, we should get alternative body shapes for the races.

It would be really nice to see alternative body shapes that are more inclusive.

- Tall Au Ra Women, short Au Ra Men. (has been confirmed in the lore, we just can't select it.)
- Less thick Hrothgar that look more like a standard cat furry. Maybe more lean tall and muscular than thick tall and muscular.
- Huge muscular Miqote. (though could be solved by adding a muscle slider)
- Taller Lalafell (just kidding, thats basically the Elezen. Had to include a joke in here )
- Short Viera men and women. I know a lot of people that wanted this option, and while I do like Viera as they are, the short ideas that people often posted were really cute.

Maybe even some fat body types. I'm not talking morbidly obese, I'm talking like normal bodies. The type of bodies that are wider framed even when they work out. Believe it or not, its actually unrealistic for all bodies to be completely thin, and I think FFXIV does a bad job of showing this. Eulmore was a step in the right direction, but those people were fat because of over indulgence. You can be fat even without overindulging. Some people just have bigger genes. I want to see more variety in the options for the all of the races. Heck, maybe even an overhaul of the entire character creation system.

I can forgive that this is a game, and video games often have unrealistic beauty, to the point that almost every character is good looking, but it still would be nice for the fanbase if we had variety in this aspect.

With that said, please fix Hrothgar ears, and give them their actual racial hairstyles. They shouldn't have to use a fantasia to switch to the starting hairs. I want to see that before they change anything else (and female Hrothgar to continue as planned). I just want more variety and changes to all races LATER.

If you actually read my post, which I don't think you did, you'd note that I suggested that we get the hairstyles for Hrothgar that we do not have for them yet, along with fixes. This obviously also extends to Viera, but we are in better shape than they are.

I really dislike when people don't read, but then comment something in opposition to you. It's frustrating.

No, I read what you said and I don't agree with your idea, because I'd like them to use all those resources to give us more frequent hairstyles and other options that people will enjoy more, including using their time to give us more headgear that we CAN wear. You're not even comprehending what you're asking for, you should know SE are incapable of doing multiple design tasks at once, in a timely manner at that.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong but adjusting our bodies in the character creation will take more work than we know, wouldn't SE need to go back and readjust each piece of gear to re-fit our characters? My characters supposed to have a small bust but I find each piece of chest gear gives it a different size anyway.

I'm one of those people who like things as they are.
No short female Viera, no tall Au Ra, and especially no comically lanky lalafells.

This too. Unless they're literally body-swapping different races, they'll need to re-fit things and it will be just as much work as to do it for a new race altogether.
