I mean Eureka branched off from main story stuff around the isle of Val. Y'shtola literally called it a forlay as well ironicallyI doubt we'd be going to the void, because that's where the main story itself seems to be headed. Maybe the next iteration of Eureka/Bozja could be Allagan themed or something related to the moon or another moon? No idea. Hopefully we get more information on this in the near future.
I shamelessly jam to Devil Trigger regularly.I love DMC.
Yes but I'm talking where the system is. We've basically covered everything in the source for it. The void is a likely candidate espesially when Krile said it would take multiple forlays into the void to explore and map out.
We have the whole of Ilsabard and several smaller regions within/around the continents we've already visited, so we're far from having "basically covered everything"
Corvos is honestly seeming more like future expansion material after the role quests clarified that the Garlean presence was conveniently ousted as a result of the Final Days, but it feels exceedingly unlikely the remaining legions in the neighboring provinces would let that stand.
It will likely be something involving doing 100+ fate type things.
There's literally no way of knowing the purpose of the World of Darkness by what they showed so far. It can be just the setting to branch out side content before the MSQ returns its focus to the Source... Or the MSQ might linger there for the remainder of the .X patches while branching out a piece of side content. So just finished the newest story stuff and the newest raid stuff and from the feel I'm getting we are going to get some sort of Eureka/Bozja forelay into the void. Just a hunch, but would be dope if we did as I most certainly could use some demonic devil may cry style weapon for my reaper.
Thoughts?
My personal bets are in that the Void will be the setting for the new Deep Dungeon or Trial series... The latter more likely given we have a group with 5 antagonists that might as well suit the number of fights.
I don't think that the new Eureka-esque zone will be there since I think would be really hard not to give a monotone setting, would be even worse than Bozja and Zadnor. And for this very same reason, defnitely that place won't be the setting for a whole expansion either.
Won't be the last threads. We already know Dalmasca will return in 7.0 to finish the Noah van Gabranth thing. But this was just mentioned by Yoshida, and the rest of the information is on the Bozjan "second pages".
But the gist of it, and spoilers for Bozja's CE stories and the pages you can collect...
It all began with Dabog, a Hrothgar resistance member who was captured by the Empire and subjected to the Hypertuned experiments. He tried to escape, but broke his spine and was taken in by the doctor Sicinius mal Asina who offered to prolong his life by hooking him up to machines, at the cost of his sanity. It's implied he died from the procedure by Sicinius in the final Dabog CE, though some people believe the true Dabog to be the Hypertuned we fight in Zadnor and that Sicinius simply meant that he was lost to everyone due to the transformation.
Sicinius then extracted Dabog's memories and experimented on several Hrothgar by injecting them with the memories. This worked to an extent, because then these Hrothgar would experience confusion and would become unstable at merely looking at a mirror, which could trigger their old memories back. So he began disfiguring them to look identical to Dabog, which are the Dabog NPCs we encounter throughout all Bozja.
This is important to know because Noah van Gabranth has a heredetery illness which will kill him. Sicinius fled to Dalmasca but was captured. However, he was questioned by Pagaga and Lyon who pretended to be Dalmascan soldiers and eventually set him free, escorting him to Noah's presence. To ensure his legacy, Noah will take what Sicinius learned from experimenting with Dabog and live on in the body of another. Rumours are already, as of the end of the Bozja story, circulating that though Noah's corpse was found, the killer being presumably Lyon, he's still being spotted wandering Dalmasca. The implication being that Sicinius was successful, the original Noah died at the hands of Lyon rather than the illness and is currently walking about in the bodies of other Hyurs likely disfigured to look like him.

We haven't heard anything about a relic zone and I hope they finally put that experiment to bed. If they want to have an adventure zone then they can do that. Just don't tie the relic to it.
Error 3102 Club, Order of the 52nd Hour
Got a feeling we arent getting a specific zone for relic this time. If anything they could end up tying it to the new deep dungeon...
the new area is probably going to either be dalmasca or a district within dalmasca
