This is a joke right?
Just shut the servers down and fix it.
nobody cares about the 1%ers doing ultimate rn.

Huh? Why have they pushed it back so far...?
Square Enix have extorted money from Viera and Hrothgar's limitations, but from the outside looking in it seems barely any of that money is invested back into the limited races. How much money have they made from players
fantasia'ing to and from the limited races? We want more race-exclusive hair.
We want them improved, and we want it done within a reasonable time.
Because they want to be 100% sure that the fixes and the correct lottery winners are pulled and displayed, and are testing that. Duplicating the bug that caused it, fixing it, and verifying no other bugs popped up came first before anything else.
The entire process is here. I would rather them have everything completely fixed, no more bugs, and working properly instead of them crapping out a half-fixed bug fix patch for more to pop up later and prevent more people from getting housing.
In the latest post they confirmed they HAVE done all the testing and have it ready to go, but them want to simulate the rollout first.Because they want to be 100% sure that the fixes and the correct lottery winners are pulled and displayed, and are testing that. They probably don't need to push it back so far, they are just being cautious. It would not look good to fix it and then another problem happen, so they want to copy a public server and see if their fixes cause any problems first. This takes a lot of time.
In other news, there is no technical debt from 1.0.
"We don't have ... a technological issue that was carried over from 1.0, because ARR was meant to kind of discard what we had from 1.0 and rebuild it from the engine."

Contrary to many players beliefs, housing is a pretty small aspect of the game.
Also JP community is much higher than 1% participation in ultimates. Even NA has higher rates.
16th may is exactly one month since when the problem first appeared.....I did not expect this to be such a huge issue which take a huge game developing company 1 full month to solve....some company develops a whole AAA game in 2 years....1 months for SE seems a lot
