Have Squadrons Been Adjusted?

I didn't expect squadrons to be any different at all, especially with the new Trust system added for ARR dungeons. However, in returning to it to level up AST (since the Trust system only covers story dungeons, there's a large gap after Stone Vigil that is filled by Squadrons), I'm finding it to be quite unforgiving. Beforehand, healing in Squadrons was toned down and didn't need much work (like the ARR - at least - Trust system is now). But in Aurum Vale I'm getting my butt kicked. The strongest of my heals do very little to heal the tank anymore and thus I'm getting wipes all over the place.

What happened? Or was it always this way and I just forgot? (I used Squadrons to level up WHM and don't remember it being like this)

There are a few content that truly need you to look up for guides how to get them clear, I personally do not find myself able to clear a few dungeons either.
Squadrons never changed, but this may be a good point, perhaps it has become unbalanced from the ........oh dear, I forgot the word. They did something with the numbers in the whole game, and maybe they got nerfed too much. This is a good thing to address, hopefully, it will be looked into.

On the other hand, I find the squadron healer more capable then the trust one
One of the squadron idiots pulled pretty much the whole first room in AV and Cecily kept me alive through it
Scion Conjurer cant handle 3 packs, sometimes 2 is pushing it.

The Squadron AI is quite a bit less smart than the Trust AI so they have certain compensations built in like much larger health pools and they flat out ignore certain mechanics like the acid pools in AV. And that's before you even start upgrading them.

The Trust AI isn't nearly as limited. They know how to dodge mechanics and avoid puddles of bad so this allows them to be scaled a bit more appropriately. On my solo experiment alt I leveled a few alt jobs to 30 including CNJ and let me tell you that tank is paper. It was miserable, not only did I have to curebot the tank, DPS slowed to a crawl because the dps NPC's weren't doing squat even single target.
