Can we please agree that glitching is a real pain, and Wooden Lofts should be like a floor and be able to put beds, cupboards, kitchens, ect. on them and glitch them instead of using 2 or more other items to glitch said items. Its super annoying and extremely limited on designing and creating a unique house and will cut down time quite a bit so we can enjoy the game instead of sitting in our house for hours just trying to design 1 floor.

Considering how common glitching is nowadays, I not only heavily agree on this. I'd go even further, saying they should simply allow us to directly enter coordinates for every item we place.

Therein lies the problem with glitching. It's become 'the norm' and expected at this point. Totally the wrong avenue for SE to take on this. It's been an issue for so long, yet they look at it and probably think, "Oh, they found a workaround. Let's treat it like buying a house in game and ignore it. It's what's expected."

Z axis adjust would also work. Silly we are stuck with just X and Y.

Agreed. It is a flooring piece we should be able to put furniture on it legit not just floating.

I do think some furniture needs to be classified in a new category; "Surface". Items like lofts or the stages would be included, and allow all furniture to be placed on them, rather than being considered just tables or shelves.

Even if they never gave us in-client Z-axis changing, just the ability to quickly float with "surfaces" would be a welcome boon.

I am with OP,

While glitching may have given some avenues for “creativity”, it’s also irritating & the physics to add layers should be simple enough to coordinate certain aspects around as you wish.

Glitching overall I dislike,

Instead the Devs should be adding more furniture & fix this problem instead.

Often I am discouraged to wanting to put something & even with glitching method it’s still is relentless.

Hence why I stopped with the pursuit of buying a home & resort into apartment instead; don’t want to get burnt out, not worth my irritable state that would provoke it otherwise
