True. But then wouldn't they seperste their linked exp gain? I'd miss that. xDThat works too... And, as much as I love leveling 2 jobs with 1, they defnitely need to separate SCH and SMN. Nowadays they are completely separate in actual mechanics and actions, and since ACN have the direct upgrades to SMN, SCH could be just like AST: unlocked at level 30 without ACN tied to it.
This would broaden the option for healers at lower levels.
Limited Jobs are basically niche activities one can do by themselves or in a group. Why take away from that just because of the questionable decision making of the standard jobs?
If anything, if more limited jobs are added and become more popular, like how PvP jobs are. Then maybe that'll inspire the devs to start getting more creative with the standard jobs in PvE instead of feeling the need to prune them for some reason.
Had an idea! What if Green Mage could cast Reflect on enemies and make their takes bounce back on themselves for a certain duration of time?
I also want to see Green Mage added into the game. Don't know much about it, but I just wanna complete my assortment of colored Mage list in this game. x3
They could just give onion knight a job trait that says “ignores role requirements on equipment”.The real problem, though, is gear. The way this game is coded, you can't have a job wear "all gear"; you'd have to have gear that was "all jobs" (like how glamour gear works), which is exactly the inverse of what you'd want with ONK (for lack of a better abbreviation, and also because "ONK" makes me laugh). The only way you could make it work would be to go through on all the role gear (Fending, Maiming, Scouting, Aiming, Healing, Casting -- and for accessories, Slaying) and add "ONK" as one of the valid jobs for all of them.
It would also need a trait that unlocks the most enhanced version of all skills too. For example taking blizzard off BLM won’t do you any good if you don’t have access to umbral ice (which comes from a trait) and you wouldn’t want to be stuck with rage of halone when you have access to royal authority.

Limited Jobs NEVER, preferably.
Mandraville Limited Job. Inspired by the Inspector Extrodinare, Gobert Mandraville and Julylan Mandraville.
Reminder that Limited Jobs are supposed to be a whole another extra side-game compared to the regular standards of balancing with our normal jobs and Im fine with that.
I don't want to see any more limited jobs. I think BLU was a mistake that resulted in mostly unfun content and I'd rather that time and development go toward content that's more universal. I also don't want to see any more classic Final Fantasy jobs killed off into limited limbo.
All I'd like to see is BLU continue to get max level increases and hopefully be given a way to become a real job that can actually be used outside of the BLU quarantine corner that currently nothing is allowed to enter or exit.
In regards to BLU I'd like it's lvl cap to be the same as all other jobs. (It's bugs me that I have to keep 1 set of lower lvl caster gear for that job) The other thing is allowing it to queue into queue into duties that don't use a default role composition like Deep Dungeons or Eureka/Bozja. The last thing would probably be to make the BLU weapon more than just a cosmetic item. I don't see a need for a huge list of them being made but possibly make drops from 8 player raids and craft recipes for trials weapons and have them provide bonuses to spells of certain elements, types, themes, etc...I don't want to see any more limited jobs. I suggested on my Blue Mage thread that both a limited and standard job Blue Mage should exist at once. So those who like one or the other can play their preferred Blue Mage.I don't want to see any more limited jobs. Personally, I'd like this to be for any and all limited jobs, not just Blue Mage, if any more are made.
That way both groups of players who prefer either limited jobs or standard jobs can be satisfied.
