Reaper is very high on the list of jobs I'm pleased to see on the enemy team in CC.
Reaper is built around a 7s damage window that it's not sticky enough to capitalize on.
If I had to make a couple changes, I'd say:
1. Reaper attacks pierce Guard while the target suffers from Death Warrant.
2. Breaking Crest of Time Borrowed removes afflictions that can be removed by Purify.
3. Crest of Time Returned also grants the Reaper resilience for 6s.
4. Slightly reduce animation lock upon casting Tenebrae Lemurum.
Reaper's on-paper potency is perfectly reasonable, but their marked target shouldn't be able to just Guard and walk away to nullify a substantial chunk of it,
nor should the Reaper's assault be so easily discouraged by literally any CC.

I want to personally say that if it ignores guard when attacking wiht osmeone wiht Death's warrant then they shoudl take increase damage from outside sources. Or to counter it flat out remove teh LB ignoring guardReaper is very high on the list of jobs I'm pleased to see on the enemy team in CC.

I think all it really needs personally is for their LB to grant temporary CC immunity and for Death Warrant to have a significantly longer duration but trigger after receiving a certain number of hits (Five so that they can do a full LB combo would probably be ideal) so that Guard and CC can't completely negate their burst so easily.

HOW ABOUT MAKING COMMUNIO FREAKING INSTANT CAST, why is our finisher a freaking 1.44 cast time like a black mage? its reapers limit break spell, you have only 15 seconds to use it and most of the time you are CC'd and focused leaving you to have to fall back and waste a good potion of the limit break only to try and get off a communio and oh look I was LoS'd or out of range or even better yet, a well timed CC'd at the last bit so it doesn't go off. Can't tell you how many times I'm trying to get it off and and i'm getting beat on by SO MUCH AOE I just fall over and die or worse.. leave me worse for wear cause of said AOE damage everywhere or if I'm focused.
PRO TIP, YOU CAN'T HEAL WHILE CASTING
Our damage is so low compare to everyone cause we have to ramp up the damage and most of our damage is too reliant on our death warrant which most of the time gets (guarded) or kited away. Yes we can get our limit break faster but, just *slightly* faster than a monk which btw if they limit break you, you die.
I completely agree with you all...there are several (see above if you are reading this SE) glaring flaws that don't allow us to be competitive in a mode dominated by quick dmg and stunlock. TBH I dont even mind losing matches, its so much more about the job being flat out underwhelming compared to many of its counterparts.
Do you guys feel like Reaper can't keep up with a person to do damage or is it just numbers issues? Let me know please.
Damage isn't the problem...DOING the damage is the problem. Alot of our dps is centered around build up and we are severely punished when interrupted in anyway(which is often).Having LB often doesn't mean jack when u get cc'ed for all 15 secs of it or focused killed immediately after activating it and don't get me started on communio's cast time.
It's mostly number issues to me because it lacks consistent burst due to its reliance on Death Warrant without LB and/or a maxed Plentiful Harvest available, plus their only CC is tied to their LB and the LB animation lock prevents you from properly capitalizing on it.
Being able to "pop" Death Warrant by controlling when it triggers to some extent would help with that issue. Making it like an alternative Wildfire that goes off after three hits and lasts for 15 seconds would make it more reliable and more dangerous overall, as you'd consistently be able to push out around 12K damage from it without LB or Plentiful Harvest (8K x 3), but be able to get it as high as 20K+ with those two things in the mix (8K + 16K from Communio + 20K from Plentiful Harvest).
Other DPS can already dump nearly 40K damage in two GCDs with minimal set-up, so RPR being able to do even more with set-up would make it more threatening.
