It immediately does 18K over an absurd radius and stuns people, allowing you potentially finish them off using the damage buff in conjunction with Seraph Strike and Afflatus Misery (In total it's around 35K burst damage in a GCD), and then it additionally regens around 20K HP to you and your team.

Comparatively, you've got:

- MNK which is either 12K unguardable damage + stun or 24K + stun, both accompanied by an atrocious animation delay that can easily get you killed.

- GNB, which can do over 30K AoE damage and stun...assuming people don't just CC you then run away while you spin in place unable to use Purify to get back in range for the finisher or just straight up die because you can't use recuperate.

- BLM and RPR, who practically need their LBs to have much presence on the battlefield in general as their burst is lacking otherwise.
Ya I don't understand it either. It's getting to the point where I'm legitimately annoyed every time I get LB'd by a WHM because of how often I see it in a match. SAM LB is stupid broken, but at least I generally only see it once. WHM I see it practically every engagement.
