


This has been ongoing for almost 8 years now. Well before the pandemic was even on the horizon. Supply shortage or not doesn't matter if SE doesn't want to do it.The denial comes from those thinking that everything is as simple as having money when it's not.
There needs to be manufacturers with the hardware available to buy. There has been a legitimate supply problem affecting all industries though that has started to ease.
There also needs to be contracts negotiated with the locations hosting the hardware and physical space at those locations for the hardware to be installed. That can be the most difficult part of the process. If there's no room, then they have to find new locations, set up new contracts and arrange to move and install everything at the new location.
SE might have money but they can't control if the third parties involved will be able to accommodate what is needed.
