Not even remotely true. The feast even when it was new never got the queue times and amount of players CC is getting.

It absolutely had somewhat similar numbers when the Garo event first launched in 3.5. The casual 8v8 mode without role restrictions had instant pops for weeks.

People are in a ginormous honeymoon phase right now because SE finally managed to push out an actually fun & engaging mode. Let's see if the rest of it can stand the test of time.

The real question is when Garo is done, what will happen to PVP. The Feast was quite popular at first but it also died. For me CC just needs adjustments, job re -balance and better match making. Otherwise it's a good mode.
