Stuck at loading screen - unable to log into character

I'm currently trying to log into my character on Sephirot (Materia DC) "Haruvion Usbon" and I tried to teleport into Mor Dhona but now I'm met with an endless loading screen. Is there anything I can do to fix? I've previously reinstalled the game and have restarted my PC to no avail. I've not had any issues like this before.

Do you experience an error message or does this occur on more than one character? Additionally, have tried deleting the locally saved content in the 'My Documents' folder?

There is no error message that pops up, and this does not occur on more than one character; it is only "Haruvion Usbon" on Materia. I also deleted the "FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn" folder within the "My Documents" locale and the endless load screen still continues.

On the character select screen please try to login to a different world server.
You can right click your character and then choose to login to a different world.
This will auto zone your character to one of the three starter cities.
This can help narrow down the issue. If you still can not login, a file check, or a reinstall might be necessary.

First of all, try to narrow down the issue if it is on your PC. Try to use a family or friend's PC to try to login (if they also play the game).

Thank you so much! I didn't know that there was an option to visit another world using the character selection screen. Using this option fixed the issue. Thank you so much for your help! ^ - ^
