    Currently, if you whiff the attack, you don't lose anything other than the GCD with your AoE buttons, and if you're out of range, you would've been able to use the action anyway during single target. Bloat certainly isn't an issue for MNK, but there's no real reason to have AoE exclusive buttons in XIV. We're not ever prompted with real decision-making between single target and AoE, so each of them only ever realistically exists once at a time anyway. Animation is also the most expensive part of game design, and by converting two very solid animations into things we actually use on a regular basis rather than "use this for dungeon trash and nowhere else," you have a greater chance of actually improving the animation quality of more actions.

    It turns my entire screen yellow and I can't see crap.

    I turned "down" effects (more like off) and it's made everything else unenjoyable.

    BRD's upgraded quick nock looks awful from behind, it makes more visual sense when viewed from another PoV but it looks so awkward and unskilled as it is now when viewed from behind. It just really feels like it was designed from a front facing camera angle.

    DRG's upgraded chaos thrust looks way too floaty, they should have just copy pasted Stardiver [XI] for a short but weighty spear move animation.

    Aside from that just client-side spell effects upgrade toggle* on a per ability/skill basis so that we can customize our own jobs even further even if it's only for recordings from our PoV and should they go this route maybe skill glams that can be obtainable by doing BLU content or some such (a curated list of BLU spells for a curated list of Job's abilities or skills like Pom Cure for healers, primal skills for SMN, some spells for specifically BLM an so on).

    *meaning any upgraded spell can be toggled between the NQ or HQ versions of it that are obtained via traits as the Job levels up.
