Gotta be honest, I was more challenged by GW2's enemies from level 1 to 10 than in XIV from 1 to 50.

Make it 1-90 which includes all the normal mode content

Lost Ark combat is way more fun than FF14 because unlike FF14 they did not dumb down jobs. FF14 is carried by its encounters. If FF14 didn't have good encounter design it'll be a supremely boring game.

All in all lost ark has better combat but no staying power this is the fate of Korean MMOs but I do think SE could take some ideas from them and adapt to them. I mean they have a real gunner class (which is what I played 75% of the time) combos that feel genuine with abilities that have impacted

But your wonder if it’s so good why comeback. Easy FF has a enjoyable world, people place events that don’t feel hollow 100% of the time though there is some that… eh but overall FF is familiar and alive Lost Ark feels like I’m a solo player and everyone is just there but that isn’t to say it’s not good just not the best at building a community

All in all lost ark has better combat

I personally disliked it (._.) I didn't enjoy the combat system at all. It was a mix of me being clumsy with that system and the healer class being non existent.

OP, don't let FFXIV pull you away from your dreams! You certainly should return to Lost Ark!
