Lost Ark combat is way more fun than FF14 because unlike FF14 they did not dumb down jobs. FF14 is carried by its encounters. If FF14 didn't have good encounter design it’ll be a supremely boring game.

I still play BDO on occasion. Even FFXIV can get boring, especially the inbetween major patch updates. Weeklies and dailies only keep me coming back for so long before I want to put it down.

I mean in a way this is a healthy sign for the game, people enjoy and defend it. WoW community on the other hand will bash FFXIV and then proceed talking about how shit their own game is.
Tho right now they are on high expansion news copium.

I've been back from Lost Ark like a month and a half ago uninstalled the game, won't be going back to it. Once Elden Ring came out my activity on LA just fell off a cliff and hearing all the players complaining about the honing rates just did not give me the motivation to get back in it.
