Alternative Customization options for Hrothgar

At some point in the build up to 6.0 the devs mentioned the possibility of Hrothgar getting new fur patterns, while we haven't seen them released or mentioned since then, it gave me the idea of a new customization option for Hrothgars to give us a broader range of choices to customize our characters if hairstyles aren't feasible (though we all know they are, please see the main Hroth hair thread for more info)

How it works:
Currently the fur on Hroth's chest, shoulders, forearms, and shins are given multi maps that apply the character's hair color onto those sections of the body texture. These designs would use the same technology and would be very straightforward to implement. This would entail a new customization option and window in the character creator. The current fur patterns (stripes, spots) would then be applicable to each of the base fur patterns.




Lemme know what you think! How do you feel about other avenues of customization for Hrothgars if new racial hairstyles will be few and far between?

Very much like that. Saw a mod once that moved the fur to the sides and it looked really good.
