Character Data Error renders me unable to log in with main character

Date & Time: April 15th. Still ongoing.
Frequency: Always.
World name: Midgardsormr.
Character name: Ashe Krie'zch.
Area and coordinates: Old Sharlyan
Steps:
1. Started the Endwalker's Main Scenario Quest "The Next Ship to Sail"
2. Arrived in Old Sharlyan
3. The game crashes to desktop
4. Attempt to sign in with the affected character.
5. Reach the loading screen.
6. See 3.
7. Repeat from 4.

Whenever I try to log in with my main character my game crashes to the desktop, no error message is shown. Other characters (in different worlds) log in just fine.
Email support and chat support have tried to help me solve this but so far nothing works.
I have attempted the following to resolve the issue:

• Restarting my laptop and modem.
• DNS flushing.
• Connecting directly to the modem.
• Starting the game in the lowest possible settings and windowed mode.
• I've attempted the recommendations posted by the SE team regarding the persistent crashing issues of Endwalker.
• Changed the compatibility settings.
• Deleting the game and downloading it again from scratch (which took over 24hs I might add).
• Turning off the antivirus and firewall and attempting it again.
• Updated the drivers.
• Updated the OS.
• Multiple restarts.
• Switching between Directx11 and Directx9.
• Updated Internet Explorer.
• Performing a clean boot by disabling everything with the Task Manager.
• Attempted using a VPN to force my connection closer to the server.
• Lack of space makes it impossible to install the game on the main drive (C: drive), It has enough space to not cause issues but not enough for this game.

I would recommend one thing.
On the character select screen, right click your character and attempt to login to a different server.
This will rezone your character to one of the starter cities on another server, then you can transfer back.
If the error is related to the place your character was logged out this might provide a work around.

Edit:
Also, if you are able to login using the "login to another world" trick, if the game still crashes, you could try to abandon the quest and restart it.
Some quests can not be abandoned but it is worth a shot. Perhaps some strange rare bug showed up when accepting the quest or during quest progress.

If none of this works, I don't know how, but the character data may need to be examined but this is not something trivial and would require someone in the support team or development team to look into.

If you have any real life friends that also play the came, you might see if you can use their PC to attempt to login to the game. This will for sure resolve the question of whether it is a character data issue, or a PC related issue.
PlayStation versions might be locked to accounts, I am not familiar with this, but I believe only one account can be linked to a PlayStation at any given time and requires assistance to unlink it.

Thank you so much that actually worked!! I managed to get my character out of the limbo it was in after 2 weeks!!
Though It turned out that the problem was indeed the quest (because it had kicked me out any attempts at entering Sharlyan ended with crashing) but with the character out of the limbo all I had to restore the game files from the launcher and it fixed!
