If you aren't one of those and skip skip skip all the dialogs, these quests are so quick to complete that you can not give them too much xp as a reward for nearly no effort at all. You could say the same thing to some degree about the main quest. Why not make it both worth our time and interesting? Seems to me that they should already know what quests are long/short and you could adjust them based on that. None of this will fix the issue of mains at high levels not knowing how to play, nor do I think it will hurt it more. Grinding out low level dungeons doesn't teach much in the way of skills for people who don't want to learn.

So why not have more options and more reasons to see the lore? I personally think leveling speeds should go
1. main quest
2. dungeons or side quests
3. everything else

Then add some better tutorials for how to actually play classes in dungeons to fix issues with players no knowing what they are doing I guess...it's a very different issue.
