Character Data Error renders me unable to log in with main character

Whenever I try to log in with my main character my game crashes to the desktop, no error message is shown. Other characters (in different worlds) log in just fine.
Email support and chat support have tried to help me solve this but so far nothing works.

Date & Time: Started on April 15th, 22:50. Still ongoing.

Frequency: Every time I attempt to log in with the character.

Steps:

• Restarting my laptop and modem.
• DNS flushing.
• Connecting directly to the modem.
• Starting the game in the lowest possible settings and windowed mode.
• I've attempted the recommendations posted by the SE team regarding the persistent crashing issues of Endwalker.
• Changed the compatibility settings.
• Deleting the game and downloading it again from scratch (which took over 24hs I might add).
• Turning off the antivirus and firewall and attempting it again.
• Updated the drivers.
• Updated the OS.
• Multiple restarts.
• Switching between Directx11 and Directx9.
• Updated Internet Explorer

For lack of space reinstalling on the C: drive its not possible, it has enough space to never cause problems, but not enough to install whole games in it.

I have the same exact issue, though, my character is still logged into the game. My friends can see it in the alliance raid Algaia since yesterday.
Thats when my crash happened. While I was in the loading screen for the raid and ever since, it does not log me out.

I have followed the steps shown in this thread but it did not work for me either.
support center told me there is no way to communicate to the servers to log me out manually and strongly advised me to post here.

UPDATE
i fixed my issue by using VPN and forcing my connection closer to the servers.
now i can login normally with no issue

i hope it works for you and anyone out there that might be having the same error.
