It's interesting, I normally hate PvP. It's not my thing and in most games I avoid it. I've actually enjoyed CC, mainly because it's so easy to get into, matches are quick, even someone with little experience can land kills and the rewards are good.

I actually don't see that as a good thing. If the PvP veterans hate it and the players like me are having a week or two of fun, then they've ripped something away from the enthusiasts to give it to people who will have only fun with it for a little bit, get bored and do something else. I definitely don't see myself playing CC long term. It's just a small distraction.

I really wish they'd stop doing that. They've been doing it to quite a lot of content and it seems PvP was next on their list. The game has become more about populating all content by trying to make it for people who hate that content, rather than designing each individual piece of content for the people who love it and letting people invest into their favorite areas.

Correct, the amount of sweat and muscle cramps to learn the best combo and be one of the world best monks has been stripped away from me and my pvp enthusiasm. So much that us pvp'ing legends are unsubscribing our accounts until it becomes good again

I did my first, and probably last, pvp match I've ever done in this game.

Now, before I go on I've played a lot of MMO's and never liked pvp in any of them. It's not my thing, some are tolerable and some I'd honestly rather jump off a cliff.

FF14 is the later. It's confusing and annoying and the ability system is absolute garbage. I'd rather have my own abilities that I'm already used on my job. Not a brand new set of things I've never seen before mechanics that are foreign to me completely. Dancer is what I've been playing mostly in PvE but in PvP it's some bizarre bastardized job that doesn't even remotely resemble what I'm used to. Where TF did all my abilities go that makes me actually a dancer and why do I have a 1 button spam now?!

Honestly I don't know and can't tell you if anyone was cheating. I didn't stay alive long enough to do anything. It felt like total garbage and it sucks massive. I do not even remotely understand where anyone can find any of this nonsense to be entertaining in the slightest.
