I 100% agree, I was a Paladin once, with sheltron and full health. I was instant killed with out even seeing my health go down gradualy or an LB was cast. Feast was not like this, you have to time the teams skills and stun to LB kill one player. What happened to PVP?I feel like the semi-auto PvP bots are probably blame for this because I've seen way too many instances where people basically go from 100% to dead instantly without LBs involved because of how calculated the burst from the enemy teams is at times.
They're programmed to automatically focus the lowest HP target in the vicinity, ignore players who are using guard, CC problematic abilities (Like SAMs using Chiten with a full LB gauge) and otherwise just make plays that would be considered "optimal" with no actual input from the player involved aside from movement.
There's also add-ons that automatically shove you into a discord with anyone else who's using said add-on, which while not blatantly cheating like the aforementioned still offer a chance to coordinate and give your team a significant advantage regardless.

I played all day. happened 3 times today.. not a lot, but still very strange (i was a war..) i was literally detonated without being cced or nothing..
That seems liable to be the fault of a MCH's chainsaw...which is another thing few people actually think is well-designed in an environment that is almost wholly devoid of significant random chance gameplay elements aside from AST's cards and not being able to utilize GNB's kit fully without healers/tanks on the other team.I 100% agree, I was a Paladin once, with sheltron and full health. The overall burst damage is indeed much higher to an extent where I cannot even process how I am dying in many situations, though.
Personally I am enjoying, not in a serious aspect but just fun to see queue times not long for now.
FL could use some small balance at least just because sometimes I get matches that make me want to back pedal and pray for some miracle lol.
They made Bard way more fun for meand I enjoy using Monk in CC.
Overall I been enjoying CC. I haven't had the time to go through and play any FL matches since the patch. I just made it to diamond on Bard and I'm still getting that "just one more match" feeling. I'm not trying for the top 100 rewards, so I imagine the presence of cheaters, imbalanced classes, and win-traders would detract from the experience if I was trying to place on the leaderboards.
I don't care about ranked, don't get upset over losses, try my best and play a job I enjoy. say hi and good match.
that's how I have fun.
oh and collect the rewards I like.
I wouldn't say I'm enjoying it. All of my wins feel cheap, and so do my losses. There isn't really much I can do to influence matches, other than "play my role", and hope to god that others also do the same. 8/10 they dont. Tanks chasing dps players around the map, instaKOs, permanent stunlocks, weirdly heavyhanded matchmaking. Little to no skill expression or choice due to how the job kits have been completely gutted. I win one game (silver 2), it puts me with full gold 1 meta team the next match, and I have a weird comp so obviously I lose. Then the next match puts me with bronze/unranked players, so obviously i win. Then it gets confused and puts me with gold players again etc. Same stuff on a loop 24/7. It feels deliberate. I'd love to know how it weighs its matchmaking cause it just feels bad. I thought the whole point of ranked was equally skilled people competing in a fair environment? With as much RNG removed as possible? Yeah....
I did consider whether IM the reason for not climbing, but I'm not so sure it is. Normally I'm top damage dealt/most kills/pushing crystal as a squashy ranged dude while everybody else runs in circles.
I did consider picking a meta job so I guarantee one lands on my team, but I dont see why I should have to do that. Probably better to "play what I know" anyway. So yeah, not enjoying it. It's a good idea, and I commend them got trying, but it's wrapped in layers of ineptitude. I plan to play ranked long enough to get my 2 mounts, and claim whatever rank I've landed with at the end of the season and forget about it. I was in it for the crystal tier rewards but I really don't think the time is worth the effort at this point. Especially because all of the people who climbed in the first few days had an easier time of it.
I got less mad losing necromancer attempts at 180+ (something that made me see red before) because at least I only have myself or RNG to blame. But with CC, I'm fighting the enemy, my own team, and the matchmaking, and the sluggish netcode all at the same time.
People say I’m angry but really I just like to fight. Haha
It’s fun but you can get frustrated at times. Made it to diamond and after that quit ranked and just started carrying casual games though sometimes my should can do but so much and that gets old but all in all I have nothing better to do since I thirst for content
I had that happen a couple times myself yesterday.
This fails to be a valid argument when you lock a shitload of cosmetics you know everyone will want behind pvp.If you're not too busy crying about being stuck in gold, try working on your reading comprehension.
Nothing you quoted can be summarized as blaming players for not enjoying PvP. There's nothing weird about not enjoying a game mode.
I said if you're smashing your face into PvP despite not enjoying it thinking it'll be dramatically different at higher ranks, you're wasting your time.
Folks who are treating CC like a mandatory grind are out of their minds. There's nothing to grind for. If you're not enjoying it, stop doing it.
If you think the new PvP is fun and just needs some improvement, it makes sense to provide feedback and to keep queuing up.
If you think the new PvP is dogshit, it makes sense to provide feedback and to stop queuing up.
If you think the new PvP is dogshit and you keep queuing relentlessly while you complain nonstop about how much you hate it, you need therapy.
I have not seen a more boring and pathetic attempt at pvp then i have seen in crystal conflict . It is a random queue ,you cant queue with friends and who in its dumb mind thought that putting random flames burning in that mode will somehow makes things spicy ?
