Advice Request - Glamor Plates

Random but great tip I found out yesterday for Glams.

/micon 15 gearset
/gearset change 15 9

This makes it show your current class and glam you have under it switches.
The example 15, is where my BRD is, 9 is where the glamor is.
The micon is so I know what job it's on.

It's also possible to simply link a glamour plate to a gear set, by right clicking onto the gear set.

While this is true, it also means you would need to use, say, 5 different gear sets using the same gear with links to your 5 glamour plates with each one needing to be updated as you get new gear, or one single gear set w/ glamour plate link with 4 macros.

It also means you could use those same 5 plates on another job without eating even more gear sets.

Probably not a BIG deal, but with 31 jobs total, and currently 47 maximum gearsets, you don't have a LOT of extra space for just glamours on your gearsets.

It's why I noted it as a possibility, rather than a replacement of using a macro for it. Some players might not be aware of this option, as the macro option already existed by the time SE added the Link to Glamour Plate one.

True that; Personally I just learned about this today..and subsequently opened up 10 slots in my gear sets
