There are many flaws in this mode but I'll just stick to the ones that I believe would make CC more fun.
The type of pvp that I think would be good is the type that each player from both side having the potential to bring the surprise factor turning a match around. For instance in Frontlines...when your enemies are running around other than their HP you don't have any information on the enemy, their alliance, and certainly not their GC. The only time you gain access to their status is when you lock on them individually.
You can see what buffs/debuffs, countdown, etc. Now this makes sense that you can see vital information since you are fighting that one enemy and this mimics a duelistic environment. In CC this information is access to everyone. This makes fighting more easier because any player who pay attention to the enemy can use it to their advantage however I find that having this ruins the surprise factor found in frontlines because you have to keep guessing and that I liked. In order to succeed you need to pay attention to THAT ONE ENEMY much like you would in real life. Memorize which skill they used..did they use their buffs? Did they spam their pots? Would now be a good time to burst? Should I worry that they will have one pot left and should I silence them mid way through the rotation just to be safe? Things like that..
Find their errors and use it against them. Just like in a real duel I really like the dueling type of feeling but CC made this too easy. Everyone have access to vital information and I belive that in order to make the mode more dualistic feeling this easy mode feature needs to go..I mean..I'm literally chasing down enemies the moment I see their MP at less than 30% and I always finish the job. I basically look for this...it's kinda cheap..their hp/mp,status,afflictions, these need to go. Only the person targeting that enemy should have access to these information.
