Option to disable forced dialogue autoplay

I just started Shadowbringers and I really hate how the dialogue keeps advancing on it's own, I have no control over what's happening at all and the game just plays for me.

The game should give as much control to the player as possible, why is there an option for people that want a dialogue autoplay only to force it to all players anyway in certain cutscenes? What's the point of speeding through dialogue like that? I just want to slowly go through each one like most of the game until now (this happened before Shadowbringers too but to a lower extent), but this time it happened to such degree that it gave me (the player) no time to take in what's going on at all.

Please do not force dialogue autoplay on all players when everyone can choose to enable it themselves, OR give an option to disable forced dialogue autoplay just like there's an option to disable/enable normal dialogue autoplay.

It's happens now and then throughout the game and is used as a way to keep the dialog consistent with what's happening in the cutscene. Points when a slow progression of the event wouldn't make sense or play properly

The developers are the ones who invent the story and choose to make it more sense one way or another, they chose to present this with forced dialogue autoplay. It's not like they had no choice as they are the ones who make the game and they can do anything they want.
On top of that, I don't see any issue with it being slower for this cutscene.

I wish that it doesn't get worse since this is the first impression of the expansion afterall... This is supposed to be a game that you PLAY and feel in control, it's not supposed to be randomly a movie. I really feel they should address this in some way.

They are trying to make cutscenes more cinematic. Having it autoplay allows for more fluidity in cutscenes that you can't as easily achieve when characters have to be able to stop after every single line.

And it's not like every single cutscene does this, most don't in fact. They tend to save it for the big scenes.

It happens in scenes when characters are in motion, or the action needs to synch up with music – basically any time where it doesn't make sense for them to freeze in place until you've finished reading.

"Randomly a movie" is what cutscenes have been doing to varying degrees for decades. It's not exactly something new.
