Gardening thread.

Sooo since google seems to fail me and I can't find any easy way to figure out which plants/fruits/whatever from housing specific crossbreed seeds are the best or are used for which important items I'd thought I'd pull from the collective knowledge of the forum. Would put this in the housing forum but that forum is currently a dumpster fire.

This isn't so much as what makes the most gil as that's server specific nor would anyone want to share but I just want to get a general idea of what I should grow and what items they're used in. For example, I'm a weaver, what cool shit uses garden crossbreed fruit/whatever in it?

You’d be better served working backwards. Like “I want to make this thing…what do I need to make this thing…how do I get those components…” and if the components you want can be gained via gardening, go for it.

There is almost nothing in gardening that can’t just be gathered via botanist, so your best is to find something you want and go from there. Things like chocobo food or the mandragora minions.

You would be good to just do Thav onions, since you need a bunch to level your chocobo.
