    May I ask why only residents of the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain and not other EU countries are able to take part in this?

    Hi Taika,

    Unfortunately this is due to legal rules in regards to contests. Since there are a lot of countries in the EU we have to take all their rules into account so right now we have to limit the countries that can participate accordingly. However, we are still working on expanding this list.

    I believe that Catapult kindly summarized a few posts I made on the German forums about this as well.

    I am disgusted. Stop calling this a European contest. These contests do more harm than good with this ridiculous exclusion.

    They're not excluding them on purpose or to irritate you. It's legal issues, and if those legal issues are resolved, the coverage area can increase. until then, they can only do it where the law allows them to. You really don't have any idea how hard it is to run a contest across multiple countries, do you?

    Generally, it's only an issue when real monetary/physical prizes are involved. It's usually not a problem for in-game item rewards.

    They gave the same arguement at the previous contest. That they were working on it to include more. NOT ONE country has been added since then.

    So whats the difference in this contest and Garuda contest i didnt see any shit rule like this in that contest.

    My wish is to someday be able to participate in any of SEs contests. It's about as unlikely as wuinning the lottery it seems.
