    Thanks but I meant the time local to where the server would most likely be, which is what I expected the server time to reflect. As Valkyrie explains above, however, apparently server time is not set to their local time but rather to base UTC.

    Most companies use utc for their servers. Mine in the US does. It makes it much easier to coordinate time.

    Thank you for the explanation. It does make sense. I just shouldn't make assumptions about what "server time" means.
