Dude, you're the one making a thread to whine about dying to silences. You really have no place to try and tell others that they don't know what they're talking about when you can't even grasp basic gameplay concepts. Like I said: spend less time whining on forums and more time actually working on identifying and addressing flaws in your play and you'll find that the balance problems you think exist, don't actually exist.
so you just compared mmo pvp to both a first person shooter, an rts, and a moba and think that's all relevant in your understanding on how balance should work? Lmao. Tell me you have no idea what you're talking about without telling me you have no idea what you're talking about. I'm making a thread about something that's entirely broken because of its extreme ease of shutting people down at range with it. And your argument of "just use purify lol" gets immediately shattered by them having almost half the cooldown purify does. The fact that there's no diminishing returns for crowd control makes a ranged shut down on such a short cooldown way too strong. The only reason I don't hate on polymorph more is because it's not tied to multiple jobs.
