    Zone pop bug

Im not putting all this info in here. I keep finding fates that seem to think there are 100 people int he zone when there are only 1. I literally just did the fate let it grow in labyrinthos and only got down to 25% of health left after 13 minutes because of this bug. it seems to happen randomly in endwalker zones. this is absurd and it is happening in all endwalker zones. Im the only one in a zone and turn it takes 50 instead of 18. what are you people doing there.

I hear what you're saying, but that's not a bug.

Some FATEs are meant to be solo-able, and some require a group. Kudos for getting a group FATE down to 25%, but SE intends for you to conquer those with a friend (party finder, zone shout, etc.)

FATEs they intend for you to be able to solo are generally the ones where an NPC wants you to collect items from the immediate area, or ones where there are groups of mobs that you pick off for 5% of the progress bar each, or the ones where you have to escort an NPC some distance and fight small groups of mobs along the way.

FATEs with a single, named mob, or FATEs that have a named mob in the description are meant to be completed by more than one player. Is it impossible for one player? No. But unless you're quite well geared and have the skill to match, you can't just walk into these and have them fall down, like the others.

The map even has different icons for the escort and collection FATEs, the 'small mob' FATEs, and the 'big mob' FATEs. You can use those markers to your advantage; either skip the 'big mob' FATEs, or prepare in advance before you travel to them.

Seeing as you got a 'big mob' FATE down to 25% by yourself, one more person ought to do it for you.

I experience this, and, I am not sure when but the server will balance and create the FATEs with scaling suited for the number of people in the zone, for balancing issues.
Some FATEs do this, some do not, depending on which ones they.

This is commonly seen in Endwalker zones, as a "hunt train" moves through a zone and I am doing FATEs and over a hundred people quickly occupy the zone.
The next FATEs that pop will be super scaled up in the effort it takes to complete as they are rebalanced to the population in the zone.
This is done so as if a large portion of these players decide to participate in the FATE it is not completed too quickly.

Sometimes the server will lag behind in these calculations I notice, but this is intended behavior.

This can also be seen in zones such as Eureka, FATEs will take less effort to complete when there are fewer players in the zone.

There are also FATEs that are very difficult to be soloed, such as "world bosses" as these are intended to be done with a larger group. This is intended behavior.

I thought it was based on how many people did the FATE last time it spawned?

If that's correct then I assume that means a group doing shared FATEs has come through last time that one was up, and it's now tuned for a full party or more.
