It's not just SGE. I've been calling this the 'weapon permanance bug' since I first saw it, and it seems to be somewhat related to PvP - CC in particular. I've had my SGE weapons showing on my NIN, my WHM's cane showing on my GNB's back and my personal favourite, my MCH's "Chainsaw" weapon animation seemingly glued to my SAM's katana.
