Spent almost a year now farming and playing this game filled with contrarians. All I wanted was to spent my 100's of million of gil on a plot.
Im DONE wasting my time with this game and the folks who won't grow a pair.

Looking at your old threads it looks like housing is one of your biggest desires. A place to chill and relax?
As you also prefer solo play, maybe a plot on Materia (The Oceanic Sever) might be an option?
You will need to wait a week or so for SE to fix their bugs, but if you do a free transfer to Zurvan or Bismarck you can have your pick of plots in any of the cities. Even larges are still up for grabs. Sophia is the roleplay server, like Balmung, but the plots are a little tighter there.
Ping is ok, and the smaller servers have a nie country town feel about them. Friendly people.
Make an alt and come look, and consider transferring your main once the lottery is running.
Good luck![]()

Balmung has always been the hardest server to get a plot on. As the first and oldest "RP server", it is full of the types of players that want a house and the competition will probably be a lot greater than anywhere else. You might have more luck on another world with less interest in housing.
In other news, there is no technical debt from 1.0.
"We don't have ... a technological issue that was carried over from 1.0, because ARR was meant to kind of discard what we had from 1.0 and rebuild it from the engine."

Yeah Balmung was always going to be tough to get a housing spot in, I would world transfer
My general issue with this post, is that it's a rant, and set-up in the In-Game Bugs. It comes across very much like a toddler not getting their way. I understand housing is frustrating, but the response here isn't really going to help you get what you are wanting.
Housing is rough. Losing in the lottery stinks. Losing in a click-fest stinks. But the fact is, there are finite resources, at this time, for accomodating housing. It's not something that is meant for everyone to do, and it's not something everyone WANTS to do. Some people really really want housing, others dont. The lottery is better than clicking anywhere from 2 hours (if you only camp prime time) to 12 or more hours on a plot to just lose to someone else anyways. Now that they've managed to make it very difficult, or at minimum, time-consuming, for bots to flip houses, hopefully that will help. Everyone wants more servers, but housing itself isn't the only thing that needs servers. NA and EU Datacenters have far more players per server than any other JP servers do (25-40k estimated active players per world vs. 15-28k on JP worlds). They have plans in place for DC expansions - this wont fix it all, but it will relieve some pressure on the housing woes. Toss in global chip and semi-conductor shortages that impact EVERY industry, and not just Square, and expansion plans are slower than originally anticipated.
If the only thing you care about is housing, Materia DC has tons of it available, as there are more houses than active players. And they may still have transfer bonuses going on.
