Nier raid set still gender locked

There are other issues I'd like to see resolved before this. But SE, if you have the time, I'd like to wear the male outfits from the Nier raid series. Thanks o/

Revised title: Nier raid set still gender specific
srry if I offended you by abusing the term "gender locked"...
such devastation.. it was not my intention

The problem is that the 2 different sets are both the same items. I would be okay if they split them, and offered you the option to swap the gendered versions at the Calamity Salvager, like some old seasonal gear and the Pulse sets.

People need to get their terms correct.

Gender locked would be some item that can only be worn by 1 sex. Like most NPC outfits on the mogstation. That's why when they "remove the genderlocks" on clothing, so people can make other's eye's bleed at the sight of their Hrothgar in a pink maid dress, it's an item going from 1 sex to both.

Nier gear and Neo gear and so on are items that have different looks depending on the sex that wears them. Both sexes can wear the gear, it just looks different depending on whose wearing it. They are not 2 separate items, they are 1 item. SE would have to make 2 new items that have the appearance of the male and female sets for each job, which is something they don't do when unlocking gender locked items that are mostly all just lvl 1 glams.

I agree rly, I think '' gender lock '' gets abused as a term a lot...
When I think '' gender lock '' I think of how if for example only male characters could play Mage or some of the mogstation skins.

Gear having different models isn't a gender lock.
I mean does that mean that swimwear for example is gender locked because it's different?

For now the best way to do it on females is the Company Tabbard, Casual Halfslops, Head Bandage, and then the shoes are up to you. I used to roll with the rebel boots when I was Femqo'te.
