Was anyone actually spoken to by a GM, about behaviour? Did anyone receive a suspension? Cam people post if suspended in game? Generally curious, people seem really salty, but all claim it wasn't them.

While there are “abusers” out there, the answer is mostly no and more no.
You’re only looking at the story from one side, the side of “oooh WHOA IS ME HE IS SUGGESTING I DO SOMETHING >>I Queen of all existence do not NOT want to do<< report! Report! Oh whoa is me report!”
And actual abusers, which was also outlined in the posts you’re referring too as “investigation of logs”
If I spam push the crystal because yo ass is in the back 1v2 their dps while they crush us, it is EXTREMELY unlikely that would be penalized as. While it was spam it was done with the intent of coordinating the team.

So I just searched "Karens" on YouTube and your statement of "I'd rather put up with a Karen" is quite questionable. Don't get me wrong, toxic players that just spam, in the case of FF14 new PvP patch, "Nice Job" is by far, more tolerable than these so called Karens. Quite the hysteria to be frank.
