Thanks so much! You saved the day of many suffering players! xDSmall update. Anyone who's ISP is Vivacom should be able to log on normally now. I just got off the phone with them a few minutes ago and I had to give them the EU server's IP addresses to check them out and they confirmed that there was some sort of central issue with the following IP's : 195.82.50.9 (Chaos) and 195.82.50.10 (Light), maybe 20 minutes after Vivacom got them back up and working normally. I suggest if you're on A1 to contact them the same way and mention this, to see if there's any improvement or at least have them acknowledge the issue.
Hope the issue is solved soon for the other ISPs as well.

Hi. Thanks guys for the help and information. I don't know much about ISPs and stuff. I use Telnet for my internet. I heard some talk recently about Vivacom taking over Telnet. does this mean that my ISP would now be Vivacom? Or do I have contact Telnet and have them look into this problem?

Unfortunately, A1 ISP are reporting issues with Telia Carrier(Now known as Arelion). Telia/Arelion provide backbone and are classified as Tier 1 ISP contracting Tier 2 ISP's such as A1, Vivacom, etc. etc. A1 said they have opened a query and are expecting a fix, however, they are expecting it would take several days to fix (I do hope their estimate is incorrect and it takes less). It's likely Vivacom ISP have rerouted their traffic trough a different node/carrier company.
I do hope SE Network team is also in contact with the carrier company and exploring options for quicker resolution of the issue or rerouting of the traffic.

I use gnet provider in Bansko. Still can't connect to the game either.
With all said and done I'm glad we all gathered to figure out what the problem was and tried solving it. If all the Bulgarians that came and pitched in are interested, we'd love it if you joined our little community's discord! I am honestly amazed how many of us there actually are, considering I never meet any in-game. If you google FFXIV Bulgaria I'm sure either the discord or the facebook group will pop-up, so feel free to join! Hopefully when this gets resolved we could all meet up in-game and play together
edit: the discord is attached to the facebook group's description so you don't have to join facebook at all if you don't want to I think
From what I understood from the discord group I think VIVACOM have already solved the issue and people are able to log in.
