Thanks for the information. And while it's reasonable work around, having to use it is not okay. Also, clearly shows it's SE network/server issue, they should be able to fix it relatively quickly to accommodate the "Not so big playerbase". At least I hope so.
Same, Bulgaria is blocked xD Well other games to play for tonight... I guess.
Another report from Bulgaria. Me and the roommate can't connect to the EU data centers on either PS5 or PC. I have no problems with logging into my character that's on Aether, NA data center. Still, the VPN work around isn't very useful if you're on console, I hope they fix this...
Mnogo sme bg-tata we ^^ , Im also experiencing the same issues. Restarted Pc, router, firewalls ect. still nothing. Can log into other data centers and create chars, but cant log into my data center.
georgia has the exact same problem since patch
i have the same issue too from Bulgaria it is not my internet connection it is stable
after the maintenance i was able to do squadron missions and pvp but after that DCs and back to back 9002/2002 errors
one website has the DCs ip i think? in a topic regarding this issue and running a tracert in cmd with the EU one shows 5 rows of "request timed out"
How is this SE's fault? Everyone here is from the same area so stands to reason that they all use the same pathway to the server so obviously a path along the way is overloaded. The fact that some people say that a vpn helps kind of confirms this issue.
I know it sucks big time but there is nothing anyone can do here.
Same, I m from Bulgaria, and after today's patch I cannot log in into the EU datacenters, I have a char on the Japanese DC's too and I have no problems logging in there. Also, my internet is pretty much fine.
I hope SE will fix the problem soon ;c
I can't live without XIV
Well, that's not entirely true. Firstly, the ||tracert to the SE servers and networks passes trough the local ISP's and is able to route but unable to connect. In other words, the information sent is not be "accepted" trough it's standard route. Could be any number of software issues. (This is what the VPN working proves, when the packages are routed trough a different path, they connect. Mind you, they still use the same physical medium while using VPN, just the routing and hops would differ.). And while the claim of the named country having small player base may be true, the named country has very good Tier 2 ISP with multiple links, especially in Europe: In other words, it is fixable in more than one way. Especially with that amount of traffic. But yes, it's well beyond our hands and their network teams have to address this. How is this SE's fault? Everyone here is from the same area so stands to reason that they all use the same pathway to the server so obviously a path along the way is overloaded. The fact that some people say that a vpn helps kind of confirms this issue.
