Learning more about the game through sidequests

Heya !
There may be fans of the game like me who loved the story and the characters ?
if so, you may want to know more and more about all this because it's always so great ?!
That's why i thought of sidequests everywhere in Eorzea to learn more about everything and our companions in particular.
There are many details left aside about the past, the lore ... I want to know more !
If you too want it, please tell it !

it's so comforting when we see people like us in the game!

I notice every dialogue from NPCs.

And a tip: when important NPCs (like the Scions) are near the quest giver, CLICK ON EACH OF THEM before getting the quest. This will be WONDERFUL at some point in the story!!

Oh, and about your concern, I trully believe NPCs and some texts will help you along about some key parts of the lore. Just keep playing! All NPCs in this game are well designed! Just pay attention to everyone and cutscenes. Do the side quests. Some of them are based on lore (a few, but...). pay attention to mentioned places, events of the past, Eras (umbral and astral). They are well spread through quests and some NPCs comments.

Be sure to speak with the denizens of Waking Sands and Rising Stones between major plot stuffs too. They will make silly or often relevant comments about current happenings.

Uncertain how new to FF14 you may be but by the twelve be certain to do Binding Coils at some point in the time. Especially before post Heavensward for some unique dialogue with certain npcs. Some job quests also open unique dialogue (Dragoon) if they are completed.

For any unaware because this Mia fricken was, the book within inn room called The Unending Journey will show a symbol next to any cutscenes that had unique dialogue so that you can see this later once you finally meet the requirements for that dialogue to appear.

Totally agree with the Coils part!
I usualy say that the Coils are the "true ending of ARR" 'cause it connects us to the lore of the previous version of the game as well. And I wish they make them mandatory before sending us to the next steps on the story.

If you can, try to convince people to do the Coils with you without skipping the cutscenes. It will be a very rewarding experience for you!! (if we are at the same DC, I would go with you).

I would but i made them all until last extension with another char in only 6 months ;(
that's why i want more quests, more lore, more of more !
because i do love this game and i just can't get enough of it !
but i'll check every advise you've given me, i may have missed some things (but not Bahamut, i did love it ! wanna adopt the twins !)^^
Anyway, i'm just happy to see there are people who feel like me !
