Changing physick when phoenix is up would be a nice fit. But it wouldn't mix well with the phoenix phase.... maybe
if you would change physick when phoenix. You would want normal physick to scale with int.
Next phoenix phase would give a buff that changes physick which will last until bahamut comes. So that i wouldn't feel that strick... just be a dps lose if you use it xD
There is a legitimate argument to buff or replace Physick if Red Mage has Vercure. Whether buffing Physick will be useful or not is irrelevant--Physick compared to Vercure is not balanced and makes Summoer players feel like they have been short changed. Bring Physick to the same level as Vercure or replace it with something else that can be used. It seems reasonable, to me, that buffing Physick to the same level as Vercure is the simplest route.
Honestly I would totally embrace that Phsyick Phoenix version being the actual Everlasting Flight as an ability. What if: Physick scaled off intelligence and was morphed into a new off gcd button while phoenix OR rekindle was active?
Weird but Creative Suggestion: Upgrade Physick and Revive into King Moggle Mog Egi with an increased potancy to healing on both spells. That way, visually, SMN has more abilities that revolve around its summons, while also making SMN's Revive more beneficial when compared to RDM's double cast free Revive. Like, give SMN's Moggle Mog Revive spell a 20%30% HP restoration to the target party member for something.
That would be nice. Maybe even give SMN a AoE healing spell that upgrades when summoning Phoenix, too, so that way it can function as a temporary healer if its parties Healers are down and SMN/RDM can't Revive them for whatever reason.

Lol, sorry. I meant King Moggle Mog not having a gem, but functioning sort of how the Egi did before without them, except with the current way they are summoned for just one big attack. But in King Moggle Mog's case, he just shows up to heal and revive party members and disappears afterwards.
Certain Egi added later on, at least to myself, would be est off functioning like that. With no gem related to them, but instead are either conjured up as an entirely seperate ability from the gem system and other Egi being summoned based on what combination of elemental egi you use before hand that'd give you access to an additional that represents more than one element Egi.
Like, after summoning Titan and Ifrit, you gain a bonus summon option in the form of Ravana setting of his own signature ape attack. Or to summon Bismark, you would need to first call for Garuda, Ramuh and Leviathan before hand.

That could actually be very useful as a sort of thing summoner has access to help in case of emergency.
For resurrection purpose, might be useful for modifying the rez button, such as being able to revive as an instant cast, but still costs 2500 mp, mostly so its not quite a healer lb3.
As for other ones, they could in theory add more, demi summons like ravana or bismark.
Mostly contemplating it from playing summoner myself and knowing that simple potency changes, while helpful, are not exactly fixing core issues with their kit.
Such as with physick here feeling out of place.
