The fact that they kept physick with the summoner despite the major rework is like a big slap in the face,
physick will never be useful to the summoner with the way it was implemented and remains since the beginning of the arcanist, they should have removed it in 6.0,
but instead they plan to remove the ressurection in 7.0, honestly sometimes I feel like the devs have a serious kit design problem with the summoner,
they give us overheal with phoenix useless 80% of the time, a useless physick since the beginning of the game that they dont delete after a major rework,
and an unfairly low dps that is not justified given the utility restrictions and a raidbuff far too thin to compete with the bard or the dancer,
if they want the summoner to be a support mage, they need to drastically increase the utility kit, otherwise they have to review what is really useful or not, and increase the damage.

This is by far the most interesting suggestion I've seen.So... make it transform during the various summons? Basically be each Summon's utility button. During Pheonix it could offer a powerful single target regen effect (as summoning phoenix already applies a regen effect to the party), during Bahamut it could apply a vulnerability debuff on the enemy, during Titan it could apply stoneskin, during Ifrit it could apply a potent dot, during Garuda it could buff haste (though that would probably just mean for optimization you do Garuda before Ifrit so the Haste speeds up the Ifrit casts).
There is some fine raider tunnel vision here. Vercure sees little to no use (as a healing skill) in harder content, but this doesn't mean it isn't good in other content like Eureka. SMN already has Physick, so no reason to not make it worth something.
"Just don't slot it". Thanks, I'm sure people already don't have it on their bars and/or don't use it. It doesn't change the fact that an useless skill has been existing for years, even after a rework. What are we supposed to think of the devs and the job design?

Imagine you have been wiping for 20th time and just to have a little fun, you just start spamming physick on healer to confuse them.
It is funny though. Of all the thing removed from summoner. This is one thing that stayed and isnt even adjusted. You would start to think that even dev think this meme of a button needs to stay on summoner purely for that.

RDM main here. I’ve literally never used vercure to keep someone alive. It’s almost exclusively a downtime tool. I cast it on myself during downtime so when the boss comes back I get an instant fire/aero. Summoner doesn’t have anything comparable to dualcast so physick should just be removed.

Are you saying you don't help your fellow healers stay alive so they can rez a co-healer or perform a LB3?
Wha? By your way of thinking, Vercure and Clemency should also get the chop as well...
Also not to mention that all of these spells are really useful in Deep Dungeons, which is something planned for this expansion.
Personally, Id rather physick was removed. In my opinion, SMN shouldnt be the utililty heavy caster, it should instead sit between red mage and Black Mage and as such, Physick should be removed. This is also why the utility SMN can currently provide is very limited.
I vercured a tank, once. The ast tiped "REALLY?!?!?!" and i was kicked soon After. I have never vercured anyone again (except my friends)
