Potential Win Trading In Ranked (Not just cheating)

IMHO ranked can stay, what should have been taken away is REWARDS tied to ranked.. IF you are a truly pvper that like the mode so much you can do it without rewards and just for the placement at the end of the season. gg.
(ANd honestly this is what i tought they would have learned to do after feast but it seems they have not)

They can keep rewards, personally. Just keep it to titles and the adventurer plate stuff, possibly the trophies still with housing. Something people want but it's not a huge deal to not get (unlike the mounts and the outfits during Feast).

Sure i will not. But a lot of player will, and to ensure their win they'll cheat and wintrade.

In instead you make the top 100 an "only" scoreboard with maybe only bonus crystals as bonus you kill 95% of reason to cheat and wintrade.

When the top players are win trading/cheating/scripting/botting/etc? Yeah sure. If all of Ultimates were only won by people who were cheating then yeah I'd agree here but you're being willfully obtuse if you don't see the difference and the mentality going into this.

And before someone goes into "But people use addons for mechanics in PVE content" It's also pve content which entails only going against the game itself, not other players. The minute your actions affect other players directly is the minute that grey area really starts to dissipate. Not to mention this is why the waymark system was changed after Ultimate TEA for example, because people were abusing third party addons to move things and tell them where to go for mechanics.

Saying we should remove all rewards when a combo of bad actors and bad code have basically made it nigh impossible to get to the top is a false equivalence on top of just being a no win scenario. We can still have rewards for the top 100.....AFTER they inspect the accounts and behavior of said players at the end of the season or something. Or I'd love to talk to and/or discuss strats with anyone in the top 100 to see what a lot of people are doing wrong...(aside from not using cheats)
