What about that person who dies 20s into the match and then proceeds to never leave spawn again and spams "Good match" 24 times in a row? People got banned for it 2 expansions ago and the emoting/jumping/fireworks were also added to TOS long time ago so I don't know why this is suddenly an issue to everyone?

it doesn't seem like you want to use the report function for what's intended, it sounds like you want a button you can use to vent out your frustrations, kinda like the "unskilled player" report reason league of legends used to have

Just saying that just because you can't freely chat it doesn't mean that harassment in chat doesn't exist and it still should be reportable.

which begs the question, what was the point of removing free chat if harrassment and abuse will happen regardless, to the same degree and with the same consequences to both the abused and the abuser?
free chat would make it very eays to coordinate with teammates

Who says they are unskilled. They are pressing the walking button. That takes skill, I simply wish for an easier means to report someone AFKing or mute quick chatting spamming because it's not worth reporting and playing pvp with sounds off is a disadvantage due to sound ques.

I think addressing this small thing is still better than doing nothing at all. I hope they find a way to break the pvp mods too, but "nice job!" spam IS annoying and would be offputting to first time pvp players.

Tell me you've never played a other PVP game without telling me you've played another PVP game. Other story based mmos hotfix so called competitive and moba games straight up disable certain broken champions or bugged champions. Just, stop. The fact of the matter is this new revamp has been handled poorly and there's a myriad of ways if could have been handled.
