Single player work shop access

What would people think about the development team and yoshi-p allow us players that have our own private estates to be able to make our own airships and submarines. There is alot of stuff I personal want to make and use the requires from mats from exploration that we don\\'t have access to unless you in a fc. I think this would a easy fix to implement. What is the community thoughts.

I kinda want it...... i need more stuff for crafting, but i am still doing firmament advanced crafting nowadays, but more content is always welcome, but the workshop are unique and has value because it was FC stuff only, i dont think making it personal stuff is in the dev mind at this point, i mean not everyone has house, including me........

Fc's need an income stream, as it is the market is flooded the sub drops don't retain their value long. There are many ways to make gil. Leave something for fcs. If want to work on sub stuff ask the fc leader to give you permissions to the workshop. So really everyone already can use a workshop, maybe not to send out subs but to build houses. Subs are just fc retainer ventures nothing more!

having personal airships is just a bonus for private housing, it wont affect anything.

If they do make it content accessible to people outside of FCs, I would like it to be linked to the ownership of an Apartment rather than a house, because the houses have a rather limited supply.

It's long overdue they put airship and subs at Grand Company like Squadrons. Too many people want access to this and can't because they are FC only and for the most part controlled by the leaderships.

I agree with you leadership controls the subs so I created my own FC to have that access. Id rather people make their own Fc's to get the access than to water it down as the Op suggests and everyone and their grand ma having a air ship. Not everyone can fly planes and subs that's why you have to have a college degree and on the job training.

It would remove the motivations for those abusing FC ownership simply by owning whole wards to make gil using these perks. I don't agree they should keep them exclusive to those with FC's and everyone should have access. The reasons behind the exclusivity are pretty transparent it's because people with access can make a lot of gil and they obviously prefer to keep it limited.

This is really nothing more than a sophisticated venture program limited to a select few and should shop.

The biggest problem will be that fuel is tied to FC credits - Crows Drop costs quite a bit at the level you need to get Balsamic clay.

So, if they are available at a personal level, fuel tanks would need to be added to the GC vendor, and it's going to cost roughly about 60,000 to 80,000 GC seals per sub per trip. Yeah, this is the upper limit, and it's going to be a close to a year before you rank high enough to do that, but that many GC seals a day is a lot of GC seals for a solo player.

However, if you want to do it OP, nothing at all is stopping you making your own FC, leveling it to rank 6, buying a house, and doing it. Just be prepared to put in a lot of learning and a large chunk of solo crafting/dungeon hand-ins to buy fuel.

Think of it as the gate.
