Nothing is stopping you from collecting your gil. They even said in one of the updates they will work out payment of the house if you win at a later time. They recognized that people who were affected by it were given that only recourse after the lottery results.

On the chance that I win the plot then I'd have to put the gil right back in, so I don't see why I would take it out before knowing the results. Also wasn't about collecting the gil, I just want to know who won/lost already.

Then how do you figure you lost? If you were the only bid, then you will win it, it just has to be awarded once they fix it.

Right! Some of us DID bid against other people, so the suspense of not knowing is killing me a little lol. At least knowing who won/lost, I can move on with that tiny little part of my mind and work on getting the next house, whenever that is.

If you had the only entry for that plot, you won. Sit tight until SE gets the fix implemented. You'll be able to claim the plot once it is.

A lot of players still think they were competing against a fictitious entry #0 because they either haven't read the updates or didn't understand what was explained.

Some people were unable to remove their gil from the placards even when there was a winner so there is a chance you wouldn't be able to get it out anyway. I don't know what caused this particular bug but a whole fc bid on a house someone won and the rest had their gil stuck in the placard. Many didn't really care because they did get the house, but it was just another weird bug I seen talked about in the fc housing ward at least.
