Regarding Non-participation/Taunting Behavior During PvP

Normally SE wouldn't touch balance midseason for the same reason they don't mess with it during the prog portion of a raid tier.

In PvP games you sometimes have to do balance changes just to keep things alive not with the intent to get towards 'perfect balance'. If they dont balance change during the ranked season, pvp will literally be dead before the first season is even over. Then add on top of it that this is pretty much a new game mode altogether where we dont expect it to be perfect, despite our current concerns...

I don't expect balance changes, more bug fixes:

Cure 2 Exploit
Purify not applying CC immunity
Sound drop forcing a relog

Those I do expect to see addressed.

Have you seen the cheats people are using? Its so out of order and we getting told off for spaming quick chat.... As usual let the 3rd party people get away with anything they want. Games so full of cheating from market board, pve and pvp more than ever.

Yeah, that's what I'm expecting too. Just the amount of feedback and activity has me wondering if they'd make an exception, or if they'll stick to the same playbook as ever. I expect the latter, but I'm curious to see the patch notes just to see for sure.
