Invincible Players in Ranked?

Have been noticing this for some time now, players just straight up not taking damage when they should be.

Today I was playing a match as MCH in Platinum tier and was facing a DRG. He had no damage mitigations that could've mitigated against an 36000 potency LB. No sage was on their team to shield him, and he wasn't using his own shield. Still, I hit my LB and watched him take zero damage. How is this even possible? I'm not the only person to point this kind of thing out. I genuinely think something shady is going on but I can't quite put my finger on it.

But whatever the case a MCH LB should not do zero damage against a target not using mitigation buffs or shielding. Flat out, that should never happen.

There's a lot of snapshotting in this game and, as much as crystal conflict tries to be fast paced, that's still an issue. Combine that with line-of-sight calculations and sometimes someone takes damage from an LB they thought they had escaped, or vice versa. (Also, there's a pretty fair chance you just missed something going on too. If you've got the battle log, we can go through it and take a look).

Lastly, the game itself sets an invincibility state on players at certain times. For example, if you see enemies get blown up into the wind on Cloud Nine, you don't want to fire an LB or AOE too early or the game will negate damage dealt to them.

Sometimes also is if that player has a shield (barrier), scrolling battle text dmg will show it as "0" till it is broken. So if they have dmg reduction and say a health shield they can end up taking very little dmg. Other times it is just bad snapshotting/tickrate.

If SE actually follow their own TOS all the invincible hackers should get ban after update....
