I know I'm probably on copium but what are the odds that SE realize their mistake and revert Sam to its former glory in the patch today? :')

I don't know, but I'm betting they do because the idea of them not doing so is too depressing to consider. I'd rather be hopeful and proven wrong than actually accept that they've gutted samurai and won't be fixing it anytime soon.
They gave back Energy Drain to SCH.
Keep the faith.
The menacing aura of every Lalafell.
With the release of ultimate, it is unlikely a total reversion is going to happen as they no doubt had the current SAM in mind for its release. A total reversion would also impact teams' planned comps for said ultimate in the early weeks. Although I personally feel it would not make a significant difference and that the early teams going hard would be able to adapt just fine to whatever changes are made, it's likely they will just play it safe. Soonest I think we will see major changes in my opinion will be 6.15 or 6.18. Although I would be happy to be proven wrong of course. Till then just have to keep letting our voices be heard!

I feel like in terms of impacting teams' planned compositions a reversion is only a gain, there are several threads in the past week or so of SAM players noting they will change jobs or the griping about gearing up on alt job on short notice for the ultimate, things like that. I agree that they are unlikely to revert since the ultimate was probably designed with the current iteration of SAM in mind ahead of time though.
I don't think we'll see anything until 6.2 if we see anything at all. I have very little faith in SE's feedback system these days, but I would certainly love to be surprised.
There is zero chance they have tested SAM or any other class they touched with 6.1 (trick attack 2 min lol). If theres a chance they have actually playtested ultimate then they did with 6.00/6.08 classes. But w/e they play 11d chess with "just try it out lol, it's not like statics will force you to abandon SAM for ultimate"With the release of ultimate, it is unlikely a total reversion is going to happen as they no doubt had the current SAM in mind for its release. Also again, many SAM players planned ahead that they want to do ultimate, why do such drastic changes when we dont even have new raid tier? I bet zero teams planned for some classes getting into trash can treatment.

Yeah, the argument that they cant make a big change this close to ultimate release is thrown out since... 6.1 happened and did exactly that. If anything, undoing 6.1 would allow comps that were thrown into disarray to come back together, since Sams couldnt all switch off and gear up an alt in time. Many were going to play Sam anyways even though they dont enjoy it anymore, so if anything, a reversion would increase player happiness and help comps planned more than 2 weeks ago to do ultimate content.
The only thing I would be against regarding 6.11 Sam changes would be a re-envisioning of the class. I.E. another change to try to address variance that creates a novel playstyle or something. A reversion, partial or complete, is the way to go. Even just shifting potency away from the core rotation and back into finishers would be a good first step if they dont want to make huge changes.
Simply put, no. They wont fix it in 6.11. They need to, they should, but they wont.
