I know new races to play as are kind of a thing Squenix doesn't like to consider...but I couldn't help but consider it.

Essentially, this came about courtesy of some Guildhests and a bit of milling about in Copperbell. Giants and Hekatonchires are kind of cool, so I figured...what if there were versions of them more Spoken-sized? The descendants of smaller giants, perhaps cast off by those who enslaved their bigger brethren as unfit for labor, who ended up developing more of an intellect? I can kind of see them remaining solitary at first roughly up until the Hrothgar showed up, when they made themselves known to the spoken. Likely by means of saving their caravans first, and building up from there. Hell, they even have the requisite 'two types' already too: Giantblood and Hekatoncheir.

The big thing here is a bit of the ol' gender dimorphism. In the case of the Demi-Giants, I figure the males look much like the traditional giants we know: hulking, buff and monstrous, with pronounced ribs and fearsome teeth. Female ones are of similar size, but, in an inverse of the males, slimmer in the upper body and bulkier in the lower body, so as to give them very pronounced, powerful legs as opposed to massive, hulking shoulders. Figure their facial features, while not exactly softer, could emphasize their teeth less and their eyes more. Possibly also their bustline, but that's bias talking.

I also figure, while the traditional 'bald' is ever an option, Demi-Giants have some hair options to them, though their species-specific ones might take the shape of fairly sparse hair, styled and done up more for practicality then anything else.
