You can really boil down the two sides to this argument as:
1: I believe housing is fundamentally broken and unfair and needs a massive overhaul.
2: Bend over and take it, I did and now I troll around on the forum because my small house is boring.

They never should have changed the housing system. Just doubled the amount plots each area has.
make excuses and nothing will change. friendly reminder every player pays for the game not just the ones that owns the plots.
Before you type something make sure you have proof of what you're saying
ffxiv playerbase still defend a multi billion dollar company pretending they cant afford to invest into upgrades to make it happen

How many times are you going to go over the same thing? Want to decorate an area buy an apartment or Join a Free Company and get an instance room. Housing is available you choose to ignore it. If you wanted housing go to one of the dead servers and go get one. No you don't want to do that? Cry more. Personal Housing was a mistake and Yoshi-P should of left it to Free Company only back in 2.0ffxiv playerbase still defend a multi billion dollar company pretending they cant afford to invest into upgrades to make it happen
Un-tie gardening/workshops from housing and put it in Grand Companies so everyone can have access. Make a new rank so you can get it. That's what people want the housing for anyway.
That way we can stop getting spam post about how housing is unfair and limited. The neighborhood system is a design choice the devs made a long time ago so deal with it. Its not changing.
Guess what? Housing is a luxury you want. You don't need it. You have access to everything in the game via co-op or solo. This is the only thing in the game that makes gil valuable
Or make another spam post about how life is unfair, I'll just sit here and get the popcorn ready

The point of the matter is over half of the players who PAY RL money every month are not getting the same gaming experience as the others. Sorry I see it as SE stealing from all the players who want housing and to do the other activities you NEED a house for. I know the airship is basically useless now but that's just one more thing that was kept away from most players.
Well if you decide to live on the most dense servers, then it is going to be tough no matter how many plots that is available, look at a city like Tokyo or New York... Beijing... London...
If you move to a less dense place, changes to get a house is much higher if not guarentied
If housing means everything, move away to another server.
Airship and Submarines is FC ONLY stuff, join a FC, to get access to something down those lines as well as the workshop. The point of the matter is over half of the players who PAY RL money every month are not getting the same gaming experience as the others. If on a dense server and want a private house, move to another server, it is all there and it is all planted behind logic, no matter HOW MANY instances or wards they make, they will run out of housing, and also running these servers is not something that is ran in your parents basement... it is quite a bit more complex than that.
